Finally in 2004, she had guest roles on Andromeda, Tru Calling, The Collector, The Chris Isaak Show and Stargate SG-1. In January of 2005 she married another Canadian actor David Palffy. The couple currently lives in Vancouver.
That being said, Erica will probably be best remembered for her role on Smallville (a WB series) as Lois Lane. She started off as a guest star of the fourth season of the show scheduled to do only 4 episodes but that quickly ballooned into 13 episodes and she has joined the cast as a full time member for the fifth season.
“It was a whirlwind. I got the call I had it on a Friday night and began filming Monday morning. I was scheduled to go in Saturday and do some photo shoots. And then on Sunday, Tom was nice enough to read some scenes with me so I wasn’t so stressed out. And then on Monday, I was thrown in there.”>
More recently she has been nominated in the 2006 Saturn Awards for Best Supporting Actress on Television for her role in Smallville as well as landed a role on the straight to dvd release of “The Butterfly Effect 2”.
Erica Durance is one of Smallville’s newest additions, appearing as Lois Lane in 13 episodes of the show’s fourth season and Erica Durance is interviewed in the tenth issue of DC Comics’ Smallville comic book, which hit comic specialty shops today.
