Born on June 21st , 1978 in Calgary, but raised in Three Hills, Alberta. Erica Durance is a well known Canadian actress perhaps best known for playing “lois lane” on the WB series “Smallville”.
After completing high school, Erica Durance moved to Canada’s version of Hollywood Vancouver, British Columbia to pursue her life long goal of being a professional actor. “I wanted to get my feet wet in a smaller area than Los Angeles when I gave it a try.” Erica said in a recent interview. Here is where Erica Durance began to study acting starting off with background work, eventually graduating to tv commercials and then guest starring roles, each roll more substantial then the last.
